I get "unknown printer error" when I try to print a page.

When I try to print any page I get an error message..." An unknown error occurred while printing." I have used Firefox for years, and this has never happened before. I can print the page all right using Internet Explorer. I can print the page using a Print Screen program. I am using an Epson Stylus R220 printer. Running Windows Vista.
