When I view "all bookmarks" all of my bookmarks- menu, toolbar, otherwise-are where they should be, but none of the bookmarks that are supposed to be on my toolbar actually appear on my toolbar. I have checked the View>Toolbars>Bookmarks Toolbar, and there is most definitely a space beneath my navigation bar that pops up when I check show bookmarks toolbar, but no bookmarks appear in this space.

I have this problem after re-installing Firefox. I've tried all the things suggested in the"help" pages without success.

mmmk... i just figured it all out. Click View>Toolbars>Customize, then in the list of buttons & such that you can place in your toolbars, there should be an icon that says "Bookmarks Toolbar... Bookmarks". Drag this into your bookmarks toolbar and click Done, and your bookmarks should show up.

the only thing that works right now for me is to go in to 'View > Toolbars', uncheck the Bookmarks Toolbar, then go back in & re-check it. It's a PITA but it works. Looking forward to a solution. deleting the localstore.rdf did not work for me.
