firefox 4 bookmark toolbar does not show at startup
My home page does not show at start-up. It is set in my options. Also the bookmarks toolbar does not show at start-up and it is checked in options. Any suggestions? thanks.

Answered my own question finally. I went to the help menu and restarted with add-ons disabled. All is OK now.
Hi Frac
I found this thread as I was having the same problem to you with FF4 final, plus a few other issues.
I've posted my findings below in case it helps anyone else.
1) The bookmarks toolbar wouldn't show at startup, even though it was set to be shown
2) My homepage wouldn't load at startup, it would just show a blank tab
3) No tabs would show the correct URL of the page they were displaying
4) On sites where I've saved passwords, my saved passwords wouldn't load (and I wouldn't be prompted for my master password).
I tried your suggestion of loading FF4 in safe mode and it worked fine, so then I tried loading it in normal mode but disabling one add-on at a time.
In my case, the problem add-on was Favicon Picker 2. Although this wasn't reported as incompatible by FF4's compatibility checker, disabling it has resolved all the above problems.

Yey dannyboy75!
All your work saved me a lot of time finding the culprit responsible for these issues.
Thanks.
dannyboy75 found the culprit, at least for me. I uninstalled Favicon Picker 2

Not only am I having all of these issues, but trying to access anything on Google is a nightmare. My homepage is iGoogle, which does not load at start up (but does when I hit the 'home' button). I can't go directly into gmail; I have to use the iGoogle link, and cross my fingers. I disabled the Google Toolbar, but when I restarted Firefox 4, the same problems arose. And now I'm trying to figure out how to uninstall the Google Toolbar, but I can't figure that out.
I'm **EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED** with this version! It almost makes me want to go use Chrome (although I'd rather not).
Well, my issue was the Yahoo! Toolbar...ugh...well, I didn't use it anyway. But it seems that the Google Toolbar isn't compatible, either, with this version of Firefox. Is that true for others, too?
