Major vendor web sites cannot set cookies. 4.0 seems broken, even -safe-mode and resetting to defaults. I did recently disable auto setting of cookies then upgraded to 4.0. Please help because I now must use Windoz explorer.

Just before I upgraded to 4.0 I changed the cookie policy to force approvals. I deleted all but what I felt were legitimate. Then I upgraded to 4.0 and used the same cookie policy.

Then I went to Amazon.com and Newegg.com to buy stuff. Both sites said they could not set a cookie. Both were set to allow and was verified as so; still could not set cookies. Restarted 4.0 in -safe-mode and reset defaults -> SAME RESULT! No cookies could be set.

I don't see any setting that would cause this condition. My only recourse is to use Widoze Explorer.
