can I use Firefox for receiving and sending emails from my web page? If so, how do I set this up?

Firefox is a browser. Internet Explorer is a browser, same as Opera, Google Chrome or any other browser. They don't normally incorporate an email client.

So what you need to do is to open an account with a freebie webmail provider like hotmail.com or gmail.com and then use Firefox to open it with. The emails you receive, or send remain on the provider's email server. You need a browser to access that with.

There aren't any browsers which can act as a storage system for emails. In that respect browsers like Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer etc., are only viewers.

Just go to your webmail site and log in with Firefox in the same way you do with any other browser.

Thanks for this. But what I need is for Firefox to be able to HOST my emails, that is, somewhere I can receive/send emails. Do I need something like Internet Explorer, etc.
