When I use Firefox as my browser, and then go into Yahoo mail or my Tricare Medical Account or Google Maps and print out either an email message, a payment summary notice, or map directions, the print font comes out very small, almost unreadable. If I do the same things using IE8 as my browser, the print font comes out normal (Times New Roman 11 I think) as I have always had it and it is easy to read. How do I get the Firefox print front back to the normal size?

Try to adjust the print scale: File > Page Setup > "Format & Options": Scale (unselect: "Shrink to fit page width")

Nothing helps with this. it just happened one day ago... the print size on everything on firefox is so small (almost unreadable) I don't have this problem with Opera or Internet Explorer, just Firefox. The others allow you to adjust print size with a location at the bottom of the taskbar to adjust this. I cannot find anything that gives you that option that works for Firefox. I tried the suggestions on here & it does nothing. I can't get through to a tech, or direct help from them to ask for help. No phone #'s, & no direct link. This sucks !

Yes, I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to print out a map. In Internet Explorer, it prints out fine. In Firefox, the Print Preview shows it correctly (full-page), but when I print it, it comes out in a little corner, about a fifth of the page.

Unfortunately, this did not work. It shows correctly on the Print Preview (full-page), but comes out in a little corner of the page when I print. Looks like you know Firefox very well - do you have any other suggestions I can try?

Sounds like less than a normal paper size is selected in preferences for that printer, as viewed from within Firefox.

nothing here suggested worked.. the only way I restored it to the normal print size is by using system restore to a previous time when it was working correctly. I'm not going to do that again.. I'm ready to switch to Chrome.. IE works fine too.. Very disatisfied woth foxfire's support.

I think you posted a different problem in this thread than what was being discussed. This thread was created by the "owner" of this thread about a font size problem with printed to paper webpages, whereas your problem sounds like a monitor font size being too small. No wonder you aren't satisfied with the support here, you should have asked your own question 3 months ago in your own thread.

See this: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Page+Zoom

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox, as with some other browsers.

Try the Default FullZoom Level extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6965

Or the NoSquint extension:

Thanks the-edmeister! I downloaded no-squint and it works fantastically!
