Upon installing Firefox, this warning popped up in the pcfirewall box, wont go away, no instructions, nothing. Why am I getting this warning? First asked/told me an unknown something was trying to install ofr do something, then this box popped up & stayed. with the following; ? unknown application childs application PID: 1852, childs application path: c\Programfiles (x86)\mozillafirefox\firefox.exe event type: childs accessing the network (I DONT HAVE KIDS) Launching Applixcations PID: 1680 Aplication Path: c:\users\6458am\appdata\local\temp\7zs606a.tmp\ ...(CANT SEE THE REST) What is this unknown application, childs application PID 1852? a warning on my pc firewall? This issue can be caused by the presence of leftover files in the Firefox program folder (defaults\pref) like a file firefox.js that overrides the update URL with a wrong link.

Do a clean reinstall and be sure to remove the Firefox program folder to remove the file(s) that cause the problem.
