How to set the home page:

The easiest way to set a valid home page(s), it to have the page you want as the only tab(s) on the tab bar, then

  1. Use "Alt" key if you don't show menu bar
  2. Tools > Options > General
  3. When Firefox starts: "Show my home page"
  4. click on "Use Current Pages"
