Do a clean reinstall.

Download a fresh Firefox Aurora copy and save the file to the desktop.

  • Uninstall the current Aurora version if you have used an installer.
  • Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.

Delete the Aurora program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Aurora program.

  • It is important to delete the Aurora program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

If that still doesn't work then try an older Aurora build and maybe a new profile as well.

I am having this same problem with nightly build 10.01a, it was working fine until it updated now it won't open or give any error. Clean install doesn't help.

A good place to discuss issues with Firefox nightly builds and Firefox beta builds is at the mozillaZine Firefox Builds forum.

There is also a daily thread to discuss issues with the latest Nightly build on the mozillaZine Builds forum.

You need to register on the mozillaZine forum site in order to post at that forum.
