What a disaster updating to Firefox 6.0 from 5.01. None of the websites that I use frequently that rely on Java are working at the moment. I then download Firefox 5.01 and everything is fine. When can I expect a fix to this problem? Thank you.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

The site link you provided is working fine from my end. When you decide to Upgrade back to Firefox 6.0 see these links:

Clear Cookies & Cache

Clear the Network Cache

Java

Check and tell if its working.

I tried everything that was suggested and I tried the Java Test after I updated back to Firefox 6.0. The print is so faint, I can't read it. http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp I even downloaded Java 6 Update 27 thinking that would help and it didn't. I'm disgusted with this update and I am going back to 5.01. Thanks for trying to help me and I will gladly listen to anyone who might have a resolution to this problem.

Thank you, cor-el for your suggestions. I updated to Firefox 6.0 and then restarted in Safe Mode and followed the troubleshooting directions step by step. I finally found the problem under "Appearance". I have been using an appearance from long ago and when I switched back to the default (and later tried it with a new persona), everything in Firefox 6.0 is working just fine. I am able to pass the Java Test and the website that I go to to pull up genealogy records is now working perfectly!! Thank you again for taking the time to work with me to resolve this problem.
