I went to the "Getting started" site and it told me several times to click the Orange Firefox word at the top left hand corner of the home page. I do not have the orange FF word on my home page. I have the word iGoogle at tat location.

What do I have to do to get it?

See:

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden (View > Toolbars > Customize or right-click a toolbar).
You can hide or make the Menu bar visible via View > Toolbars or via Firefox > Options.
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or tap the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.
