Some text and fonts are "outlined" or "inlined", making it difficult to read.
Some websites have fonts that appear "outlined" or filled with a different colour, making it nearly impossible to read. I have a screen capture of Firefox versus Safari to show you the difference, but there is no way to send it to you on this form. Contact me by email and I will send it to you...

You can do a check for corrupted and duplicate fonts and other font issues:
- http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/multipleappsquit.html - Font Book 2.0 Help: Checking for damaged fonts

I've read the two links you supplied, but before I start stripping down fonts, I want to send you the screen capture of how it looks in Firefox vs. Safari to make sure you understand what it looks like...
Yes, that looks like a font problem that makes Firefox use a different font and in this case an outlined font.
You can do a font test to see if you can identify corrupted font(s).
You can also try different default fonts.
- Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced
- [ ] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
Turning OFF "Allow pages to choose..." remedied the problem. Many Thanks!
You're welcome
I would still advice to see if you can identify the misbehaving font to correct the problem.
Some page may not look correct with the current default font and website fonts disabled.
