When I go to add a new device (computer) it doesn't take me to a place to put in the code that Sync generated on the existing account computer but instead takes me to the Mozilla help page on how to add a new device. Why is this happening and how do I work around it?

I see that you are using Firefox 5, have you tried to upgrade to Firefox 7 (today is Firefox 8 launch though)?

If upgrading is not an option, I will encourage you too start the browser in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.
