Cannot get the security & stability update to ever load 10.0.2

Every time I get the notice to update 10.0.2 I click to update - never seems to install or update and a day or two later I get the same message with the same result.

Sorry to hear that but if you have problem with update firefox the better and easiest way is to download and install the new version

1. Download a new copy of the latest Firefox program(10.0.2)

2. Firefox 10.0.2 from: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html

3. Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install.

4. Install the new version that you have downloaded(10.0.2)

Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks or other personal data.
