how doi import bookmarks from a favourites file

Hi. I have a copy of "Favorites" folder from a Vista laptop and I want to import them into FireFox on a new Win7 laptop. I cant seem to find the way to do it?

You can't import the files in the Favorites folder directly.
You can try to create that folder in your Windows user account and copy the files to that folder and see if you can import the IE favorites.
If that doesn't work then you need to use IE to export the favorites to an HTML file and import that file in Firefox.

You can find the Import menu entry in the Bookmarks Manager (Library)
