Try to disable hardware acceleration.

• Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

In Firefox 4+ versions you can use one of these to start in Safe mode:

• Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
• On Windows, hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox with a double-click on the Firefox desktop shortcut
• On Mac, hold down the Options key while starting Firefox

If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

thanks for your response on my issue with Firefox start up.

I just took your advice on updating my graphics at first when i open Firefox it seemed that the issue had gone, I thought great solved, but i spoke too soon as my issue came back. I have just clicked on upload image of the screenshot of what i took, but i don't know where it has gone.

PS just updating my last answer it seems that this morning that firefox starts up normal now so i guess it needed a computer completely shut down instead of a restart, so i just want to say thanks for your help on my firefox issue and everything is good so this issue is solved.
