Since upgrading to Firefox 13, internet connection drops to "local only" every time.

Most of the time I can initially connect fine to the internet but always eventually drops to "local only". Microsoft Security Essentials running for protection.

Is that only happening with Firefox or with other browsers as well?

I think only Firefox. Thank you for helping. I am currently testing the fixes you've suggested and will report back soon.

I have not been able to resolve the problem at this location. However, I am now home and using another server and our wireless network connection on a linksys modem. There is absolutely no problem with my internet experience now.
