Firefox problems on one of two Macs running Mountain Lion

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion on my two Macs. On the MacBook Air using Firefox 14.0.1 some pages in "my account" at Amazon's site and the my.yahoo.com portal (when signed in to the account) are wonky. Note: the portal page of my.yahoo.com looks fine if you are not signed in. It only gets jumbled if you're trying to view the custom home page for your account. The same is true of Amazon. the general site looks fine; it's only when you try to view deeper pages, such as "my account." I've seen similar problems at a few other sites, as well. All sites are fine in Safari. Text overlaps paragraphs, images missing, etc. No problems on the MacBook Pro, also running Firefox 14.0.1

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Thanks, Tylerdowner. I stumbled upon that fix the day after I posted and was planning to come back here and post for future users. You're right, the reset fixed it.
