I am stilling having an issue with Script: chrome://mozapps/content/downloads/download.xml:68 as I posted here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/795085?as=aaq and am still having this problem 11 versions of firefox later. Is there any fix for this?

What are the circumstances under which you get this error?

Does it help if you clear your download history (see first section of this article: What to do if you can't download or save files)?

The circumstances are downloading a file. My browser pretty much locks up any time I download a file be it a small jpeg or a large exe. I used to get a pop-up window alerting me that the script in my first post had stopped responding and gave me an option of ignoring or stopping it. Once stopped downloads would be fine until I restarted firefox and again got the notice (I don't always get the notice, but I do always get the lock-ups).

It happened this time when I had stuff in my download history, it was about 25 files.

I am going to restart and try downloading the file again that gave me the script stop with my download history clear and will report back here.

[edit]No luck getting a lock up again just yet. I will do some more testing with a full download history and without it full.

Is there any where that I can just disable this script all the time? I've looked for it in about:config and don't see it there.
