Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
but i cannot download it so how do i get to the "tools" section?
every time when i get to "run as" when i dowload ff - it crashes. it just shuts itself down and wont download anything. nothing happens!
i dont know if you can call it "crashing" but when i get to choose the user whom i want to install the software with - i choose and then the little window closes and nothing happens!
i use a laptop with windows 7 on it.
You can find the latest Firefox release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:
- Firefox 15.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Download the Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop.
already did that...
Can't you start the installer?
Try to run the program as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator).
thank you!!! i thought that if i choose the admin option in the "run as" window it would be enough. but the right click >> run as admin fixed the problem!
again, thank you!!!
You're welcome
Run As Administrator worked for me...... Thanks, CraigL
