I reset Firefox by mistake the other day, and now I lost all of my bookmarks and my yahoo toolbar which had my favorites. Now i realized what happened and want it back. I tried a system restore, which brought back everything for a moment, but as soon as I log out of FF and get back in, its back to the Reset version with all my stuff missing... I am really lost, also now Adobe Flash keeps crashing, I can't download a new yahoo toolbar ( just doesn't download) and everything seems all jacked up....

Please Please Help....I'm not having any luck searching for a solution..

Thanks.

No, you can't recover your previous session bookmarks, pages etc. if you did 'Clear recent history'. If you wasn't doing that action and just closing Firefox, 'Restore previous session' could work perfect. Tips from me, when you want to bookmark a page, press the star icon and add it. Other option is to save the bookmark like other have the 'MSN' example in 'Administrator' > 'Favorites' or 'Links' > 'Bookmarks'

Or just press 'alt' button > Bookmarks and do your custom settings! To show your bookmark toolbar/sidebar directly, press ctrl + b

"Reset" creates a new default profile with a time stamp appended to identify it and tries to recover settings like bookmarks and history and passwords and cookies and auto-fill data from the old profile, but you lose data like extensions and other customizations.

Firefox 15+ versions will move the old profile folder to an "Old Firefox Data-##" folder on the Desktop that gets a number appended if you use reset more than once, so you can no longer use the profile manager to revert to the old profile.

If you still have the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop then try to restore one the JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder.
