Before I upgrade, I need confirmation of full compatibility with the ANGEL Learning Management System?
When FF17 came out, I upgraded and then could not teach my online classes until FF17.0.1 came out with the fix. I need to avoid this problem, so am asking about ANGEL operation with FF v. 18 Thanks

You'd have to check with the actual developer of the add-on to determine compatibility. It's the add-on or extension developers responsibility to ensure compatibility with various versions.
Try the portable Firefox version to check out the site to see if ANGEL still works.
They state that the latest Firefox release is supported, but you can only be sure by verifying this yourself (the site may be using an older ANGEL version).
I have this problem to since the 20.0.01 came out. I have Windows 7 and have tried all the fixes. The school told me to use Google Chrome. Angel 8.0 won't work with it per support at my school.
I don't use a portable device. I use a desktop Windows 7. The new upgrade 20.0.01 will go into emails, but will not pull up discussions or my assignments in Angel 8.0
How do I go back to version 19 because it works
You can install a portable Firefox version on a desktop computer.
This version is not for portable devices, but meant to install on a portable storage device like an USB drive, jump drive (memory stick), so you can take it with you if you move to other computers.
You can however also install this version normally on the hard drive of your desktop computer.
This version uses its own Firefox profile folder and doesn't interfere with other Firefox versions that you have installed, so it is perfectly suitable for situations where the current release doesn't work.
When does the next version come out?
This coming Tuesday.
