How do I keep Comcast from transferring me to their website browser instead of Firefox?

I installed Comcast high speed internet service. After the installation of their equipment, every time I try to log into Firefox their software subverts the request and transfers me to their web browser. How do I get that changed back to Firefox when I click on Firefox?
