I have a row of icons visible that are in my bookmarks toolbar. And this row "used" to have a drop-down arrow for the bookmarks toolbar and another for all my other bookmarks. As of this morning, the arrow for the bookmarks has disappeared.

How do I get it back?

No, sorry, there is an ongoing lack of understanding here.

I do not have classic menu turned on. I have the orange button in the top corner.

What I am trying to get across is that I used to have a dropdown bookmarks button in the bookmarks bar. That disappeared a couple of upgrades ago without warning. I can find a sidebar bookmarks button but not the dropdown button.

Some confusion here. Why does Mozilla have ANYTHING in chrome? Or called "chrome?" Why not call it "internet explorer" or "opera" or "safari"?? And why wouldn't chrome have a "mozilla" or "seamonkey" or "firefox" folder?

I guess my sense of logic doesn't work with mozilla.

@greg_beau I think I had that problem a few iterations ago too and now I limit myself to FF 18.0. Also, I find google search results from other sites seem to be more helpful at times.

Meanwhile, I did a customize toolbar and added a bookmarks icon to my toolbar. I don't remember exactly, but I might have needed to do an add-ons search for icons.

Just brainstorming here and hope you find something that works for you. I've been dealing with the iOS7 update on my iPad and am overwhelmed by forced deprovements.

I agree with Greg_beau. I don't understand arbitrary changes that cause users to seek and find their own solutions and have to learn to write software to restore order out of mayhem. I have a real job and clearly, it isn't writing software.

Likewise, I like my cars to work out-of-the-lot. I don't want to go home and figure out a way to put the gas pedal back where I want it or the gear-shift in the same place. I'm not a mechanic and I'm not a car builder.

Let me decide if I want to buy certain options. Ditto for computer programs. Offer me options, don't assault me.

Hi Greg_Beau, okay, so the first step I posted wasn't needed (I couldn't tell from your post). Did you proceed with the second step? There are two different buttons and if the button that drops down the menu has gone missing, restoring the default buttons is your next move to get it back. Does that help?

Hi PhineasBoggs, you wrote:

The term "chrome" has referred to the user interface of Mozilla browsers for over 10 years. There was a chrome folder in Mozilla Suite and Firefox profiles long before anyone named a browser Google Chrome. Now, who copied whom?
