How do you delete an unused email account?

I'm trying to delete an email account that I no longer have access to. They just shut it down with no notice one day. I have copied all the emails from the folders in that account. But I want to delete it. I can't figure out how to do that. The delete key doesn't work. And I don't see any place in the menus for doing that.

Help me Obiwan Kenobi, you're my only hope. ;)
