Dear Firefox: I have loved you from the first moment I saw you, many years ago! However, if you don't fix your infernal reloading problem, I'M LEAVING YOU!
Your recent Beta updates started a trend of reloading every page twice, even in the middle of typing! The first time, it was annoying. Now, I'm ready to jump ship!!
I've totally dumped Firefox from my system, twice; reset all values to default, twice; ditched many of my favorite add-ons, several times; spent many days cleaning and recleaning my system, even wiping my empty spaces! The problem still goes on.
I have totally ditched all Beta versions, and even though I went back to earlier versions of Firefox that used to work fine, the reloading headache continues!!
Fix this stupid problem!!

Can you detect any pattern to the reloading?
Earlier this year a Mac user posted with a similar problem. It went away, but it's not clear why (the actual cause isn't mentioned): mac firefox reloading pages, wiping out sign-in boxes, often when typing info.
Does using Firefox's Safe Mode have any effect? You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled (Flash and other plugins still run)
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)
Any difference?
(This is not just about extensions; Safe Mode also disables the JavaScript compilers and some other advanced features.)
To save form data as you go while working on this problem, consider an extension like: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/
By Beta you mean the Beta builds of Firefox 29.0 ? (currently at Beta 9) as the Firefox 28.0 is a the current release from mozilla.org
No Firefox builds have this issue so it could be a conflict with a Extension(s) for example.
