Hi, tried everyting, will not print from Firefox

Hi, cannot print from Firefox. Followed your troubleshoot and at the last stage about resetting printer settings in the folder file under profile but it would not let me save the prefs.js file after I have removed everything on print. Have spent hours trying to resolve this as printing work on other browsers but I prefer to use Firefox. Would appreciate if you can throw some light on solving the problem

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with Firefox and sorry for any inconvenience that this issue has caused.

Has this printer ever worked with Firefox on this computer? Can you print content on another web browser?

Yes it worked before on Firefox and yes at the moment it is working from windows explorer

Make sure that Firefox is closed when you try to make changes with a text editor to this file. Make sure not to double-click the file in Windows Explorer, but use "Open with" in the right-click context menu instead.

You can also rename the prefs.js file to reset all prefs.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

Thanks, I have followed the steps on your link before and it did not work and I tried it again now and it keeps saying Access Denied and the file cannot be saved. I am running out of ideas
