Yes you can install Firefox on Kindle devices. You will need to change a setting in the Kindle OS settings. http://www.zdnet.com/blog/mobile-gadgeteer/download-non-amazon-approved-apps-on-your-kindle-fire/5368

We recommend installing the Aurora build of Firefox for Kindle devices as this build has a built in updater that the beta and release builds of Firefox do not have.
