page not found at the first click
Hi, why if I open a page in Ff (36 and 37, no issues with previous versions) I go http://postimg.org/image/xz6do8oy9/ and after 0,5 seconds or less! (i.e. simply clicking on Reload Page, or "Try again" in the photo above) all is fine? this happens sometimes (but since a few days very often) on both my PCs.
as firefox would need a "second click" to communicate with the router. not a firewall issue. regardless of the profile, if new or "unclean". thanks.

You can check if it helps to start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift/Options key.
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Hi,
if the firewall block FF, why every time after 0,2 seconds it works fine? if the firewall block it, then even after a lot of attemps I would be unable to get FF working. Instead I can open 15 tab at the same time, without issues. after 1 second opening this forum or google I obtian the message above, after 0.2 seconds I click refresh: all is fine. its strange right?
(Safe mode: since I have no idea when the issue will happen, I should navigate in [un]safe mode the whole day, this were a risk without noscript and ADB). No proxy.
the links: my big problem is that I am able to navigate well with FF! sometimes it happens as FF could not contact the router...but a Refresh solves the problem. I would prefer to get FF working without click Refresh.
Firewall and addons: if there were issue with firewall or addons I should see the same error message even after clicking Refresh ok?
perhaps I will try switching to true the parameter network.dns.disablePrefetch
cookie &cache: always deleted at FF shutdown.
