I have recently upgraded to Win10 but have now reverted to win8.1 Thunderbird is not functioning (version is 24.5.0) size of programme is 48Mb. I cannot access Programme and it will not uninstall using uninstall function. Any helpful suggestions would be welcome.

Make a backup of your Mail-data using Mozbackup or just make a copy of %appdata%\thunderbird\profiles. Reinstall Tbird. The last one is Thunderbird 38.2 But use an old one if you prefer

Make a backup of your Mail-data using Mozbackup or just make a copy of %appdata%\thunderbird\profiles. Reinstall Tbird. The last one is Thunderbird 38.2 But use an old one if you prefer
