Firefox crashes
Firefox consistently uses at least 16% CPU time even in Safe Mode. It crashes when I press "End task" in the Task Manager or just press the minus sign at the top right of the FireFox window. This is a new type of crash. The powers that be are working on it.
Places Maintenance {web link} Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks and history module behind Firefox.
Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then follow the directions.
