Drafts disappear
Been using TBird for many years. After the last update my Drafts disappear. In the DraftsFolder all my concepts have gone up to 2016 If I send a temporary tekst to Drafts I see the usual Save flash but the mail doesn't reach the Folder. A big loss

'Drafts' folder is used to temporarilly save emails that are in the process of composing, but as yet not sent.
Usually, once email is sent, then the draft copy is deleted and a copy of sent email is put in 'Sent' folder.
If you choose to 'edit as new message' then the subsequent copy of draft will be created as a new draft. When it is sent, that new copy is delted, but the original may remain.
'Templates' folder is used to store emails which you tend to reuse with minor adjustments.
What is not known is whether this is for a POP or IMAP mail account or whether you use POP but created it as a deferred account in which case it may use a Global Inbox in 'Local Folders' mail account.
Is it a POP account 'Drafts' folder ?
Is it a deferred POP account 'Drafts' folder in 'Local Folders' mail account ?
Is it an IMAP mail account Drafts folder ?
What OS do you use? What version of Thunderbird are you using?
