How can I prevent Firefox showing my user data even if the master password is not entered?
I am using Firefox at my company computer. I am also using a master password to acsess my data and passwords. The issue is that lots of my personal data is available whoever starts Firefox at my computer. Even before entering my master password, my identity is available. Is there a way to hide my identity at the Firefox menu if I don't enter my master password? Thank you for your support.

No. There is no way to password protect the entirety of Firefox Profile data.
Best to use the Windows 10 user account feature to "lock" your user account at will, to "lock" all your user data on that computer. https://www.windowscentral.com/how-manage-user-accounts-settings-windows-10

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player or remove it using these links; Uninstall Flash Player | Windows {web link} Uninstall Flash Player | Mac {web link}
Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Hi McCoy, these are tips for personal computers. Not solving my problem. Thanks for your interest.
Hi FredMcD, No relation with Flash Player. Maybe I've failed in explaining my problem clearly.

Hi the-edmeister, "there is no way" is the answer I have been afraid of. Thanks anyway.
One thing you can do is to keep your profile in your pocket.
http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition
A fully functional package of Firefox optimized for use on a USB key drive. A specialized launcher will allow most favorite extensions to work as you switch computers.
Firefox Portable is a 3rd-party build. Support is available here: http://portableapps.com/forums/support/firefox_portable
You can use sync to share data between profiles. But some data cannot be shared between different versions.
Hi again, thank you for your reply. Firefox portable is the solution I've found for my problem too. I have my Firefox portable installed at my usb drive with other private data password protected (via Folderlocker). Thank you for your recommendation. Actually another way to hide my identity could be signing off each time I use Firefox. I would simply sign in the next time I start Firefox, no need for portable version from usb or from cloud whatsoever than. The question would remain though, why Mozilla allows my identity available even though I don't enter my master password or I type it wrong.

Most computers today make use of user accounts that can be password protected. They can't get your data without your password.
