My e-mail works fine for about 7 to 10 days, then I can't send e-mail although I can receive it. It seems to occur when I attempt to open Firefox and I see a box that says It is necessary to close Firefox or cancel. No matter which one I chose, it doesn't help. If I shut my computer down for a day, it works works when I re-boot. I can receive e-mail as I mentioned but I can't sent it during this period. When I send an e-mail, the message I receive is as follows:

Error Wrong or missing login data to access mail transport server mtavip. Please check associated account's settings/credentials.

I see a box that says It is necessary to close Firefox

What is the exact error messages?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

The above information and suggestions did not help. However the same thing happened again this morning. It was the first time since March 14. This happens every 7 to 10 days. I finally copied the message and here it is. At the top left hand corner of the dialog box it says:

Close Firefox

Firefox is already running but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

Close Firefox Cancel

Where do I go from here.

This problem still continues and I am unable to resolve it. It happens every 7 to 10 days, usually on a Tuesday. It happened again last Tuesday and I still can't send e-mail. It is not related to MS Windows 10 updates. The odd thing is that I can send e-mail out using my lap top. The only difference is that my lap top runs Windows 10 Pro while my desk top, which has the problem, runs Window 10 Home Edition. My ISP is of no help. Once the problem does resolve itself, usually after logging out of the mail box numerous times and shutting down the computer, it will work for about another 7. Personally I think it might have something to do with Firefox updates. Presently both machines are running version 66.05. I need help!!
