Tasks older than 1 month not showing in reminder window
I have a lot of tasks with due dates that are way past due. These are not critical tasks and I plan on getting to them at some point. I just don't want to lose track of them. As soon as they are 1 month old, the task quits showing in the reminder window. It still shows green in the task list but just doesn't pop up in the reminder window. As soon as I change the due date to be within the last 30 days, it starts showing again. Anyone else had this problem?

I have a task -
- selected 'Start' checkbox and date that was set end of March, but no due date - did not select checkbox for 'Due Date' - left it unchecked.
- status set as 'Needs Action'
- I set 'Reminder' as 'Custom' which opens a new window.
- selected 'Add'
- Under 'Reminder Details' I chose the second option and set a date in the future eg: 30 May 2020
- Selected Show an alert.
- click on ok
- the 'Save and Close'
In Calendar view, in the 'Today Pane' , select to see 'Events & tasks' - the 'Task is shown

Thanks for the reply but that is a little different from what is happening to me. Example: I set up a task with a date of 04/01/2020, some time on that date (doesn't matter when) and no due-date, status "not specified" and a reminder 0 minutes before. When 04/01/2020 and that time rolls around, I get a reminder. I snooze it for say a week and continue on. The next week it pops up again and again I snooze it for a week. If the task is not completed by 05/01/2020, it quits popping up on the reminder window. It still shows as green in the list of tasks but just not showing up in the reminder window. The 1 month from the original date seems to be the issue.
