Within the last 48 hours, my wife and my self , who both use thunderbird can not receive emails sent to each other. We can recieve email sent back and forth from my work, we can receive emails from other people, and we can receive emails from each using the webmail site from our ISP. We have been using thunderbird for almost 15 years and have not had any issue at all.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Email here is at @cox.net

Name here is Bill. Thanks in advance. PS we did not make any changes to our system within the last year.

Generally when you don't get mail from yourself (are you and your wife using the same email address?) it is because the provider has simple dropped the mail in the great bit bucket in the sky because they think it is spam. Apparently we are not supposed to email ourselves using the same email address as we send from. Google have hidden such emails for years, but they are being joined by other sheep now.

I have not seen anything specific to cox, but I would suspect changes there, or with your anti virus provider.
