TB 78.7.1 "Incoming Server Already Exists"
I've just bought a new Mac Book Pro (M1 Chipset) Osx Big Sur 11.0.1. I've installed TB 78.7.1. I'm getting an error:
Error Creating Account
"Incoming server Alread Exists"
So far I've added my personal gmail account using the default settings:
Imap.gmail.co Port 993 SSL/TLS OAuth2
smtp.gmail.com port 465 SSL/TLS OAuth2
I have two other gmail hosted accounts (these both have their own domain extenstion rather than @gmail.com). When I try to add these using the standard settings I get the error. I'm running TB 78.8.0 on anothe older machine and don't have any issues with the same settings. I've searched the internet and support forums but can't find a solution. I've been using TB for years and really don't want to have to stop, especially as I do donate from time to time. Hopefully someone can help as it's really frustrating! Thanks!

Oh a MacBook with m1 chip,oke.
Do you have multiple accounts on your laptop?
Double accounts(name)?
Try to change the name of one Thunderbird account if there are two
with the same name input.
Go to Preferences on the Mac, or Options on Windows, then Accounts / Outgoing Server and look at the SMTP servers list. Remove any duplicate or redundant SMTP servers.
Change you’re port number into 587 instead of 465. Port 993 for outgoing traffic.
Better use 587 as your port number. Use port 456 if you can t. But they stil use this.
Use port 25 if you must it is changed in 2525 because there was to many blocking on that port number by ISP. Better a not usable port number with this configuration then beter to use this port number.
Port 587 is a quiet usable port for this moment in 2021. With better functions for sending mail at the moment in 2021.
Change the port Numbers. It could be fixed.
Greetings firefoxvolunteer.
