no firefox option in notification center; can't enable push notificaitons
hi all. i'm trying to turn on push notifications for firefox in hopes that it will solve the issue of me not being able to send tabs to my phone (says 'sent' on my computer but tab never arrives). one main fix i've seen for this is to make sure push notifications are enabled. however there is seemingly no where on my phone to enable this!!!
firefox instructions say "go to notification center in settings app and scroll down to firefox. however there is no firefox in my notification center. (screen shot of the apps notification center in alphabetical order showing no 'firefox') i've also tried looking in the in app settings, and the firefox settings in the settings app; no notification options in eithr of those places.
no idea how this could be! or how to remedy. any thoughts? thanks!

I'm really sorry about that. Can you try to uninstall and reinstall to see if it might help?

Hi abritelight,
Have you tried searching for Firefox on your the main Settings area? If you can find it, you will see the Notifications menu there (see the attached screenshot).
hi kiki thanks for your reply! for some reason i don't have a notifications option in that location either, see screenshot.
Ok. That's certainly weird. Can you tell me what's your Firefox and iOS version?
oh yes sorry i had meant to come back and edit that info in: firefox 33 on ios 14.5.1

It's pretty much up to date, but just to be sure, can you try to update to Firefox 33.1 to see if it may change something?
okay yes just updated and still no sign of notification options anywhere!

Glad to hear that. Yep. Please submit another question if it's a different problem.
