Using Thunderbird - can I DELETE an E-Mail account?

more options

Is it possible to delete a Thunderbird E-Mail account? By that I mean delete all E-Mails received or sent, delete the E-Mail entirely and then set up the account, same as it ever was, but keeping NONE of the past history, previous E-Mails, etc?

Yes. Open Account Settings (press Alt-e and choose it from the drop-down menu that appears), highlight the account you don't want and then click Account Actions followed by Remove Account.
