You cannot setup an account with the thunderbird domain. If you do not want google, you might try outlook.com or gmx.com or others. Here is a URL of some possibilities: https://www.lifewire.com/best-free-email-accounts-1356641 but I share this only informational. This does not imply any endorsement by Mozilla.
