Firefox will not let me copy text. Why?

When I press and hold my finger on text on a webpage it doesn't highlight or give me any option to copy the text. I can only copy text that I have written in a text box.

Sorry, selecting text from web pages is not yet possible in Firefox for Android. We've started working on this feature, and it will included in a future version. We'll be keeping this page up to date with details on the work: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Fennec/Features/androidcopypaste
