Hey wldil,
I would check to be sure that the Bookmarks Toolbar is turned on. This is found in Firefox > Options or View > Toolbars if you are using the menu bar. Once you verify that the Bookmarks Toolbar is turned on, if you still can't see the Bookmarks button you might want to look at the article Navigation buttons like back, home, bookmarks and reload are missing. It will show you how to restore the toolbars to the default settings.
Hopefully this helps!
You only see the Bookmarks menu button if the menu bar is hidden (View > Toolbars or Firefox > Options).
If the Bookmarks Toolbar is visible then the Bookmarks Menu button is displayed on the Bookmarks Toolbar as part of the Bookmarks Toolbar Items (bookmarks).
Otherwise the Bookmarks Menu button will appear on the right side of the Navigation Toolbar.
If you do not see either then check these:
- Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
- If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
- If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
- If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up
