I went onto YouTube and tried to watch videos but a message popped up where the video would be and said to check back later. I went on google chrome and it played immediately so I know it wasn't something wrong with YouTube. I have the latest version of adobe flash player so what else could be wrong?

You can check for problems caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and possibly downgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3.
