When I try to load yahoo mail I get a warning that I am being redirected. 10-30-12
I know yahoo mail has had some real issues lately but I lately it has gotten worse with warnings about being redirected by firefox. I have version 16.01. I have used firefox for years and want to continue. I have also used yahoo since its inception. I just want them to paly nice together.

Is it Firefox's infobar coming up? Yahoo does redirect for login; that's normal. If you find that you need to login all the time, that could be the issue described in this thread:
If you want to turn off the redirect warning, you can do that here:
orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"
Any luck?
The redirect problem seems to be corrected with On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page" .
Thank you
Now if we can correct the issue with having to sign in every couple of minutes or so I would be a happy camper. Could be this is a Yahoo problem. Yahoo has been unstable pretty much all fall, 2012.
I was able to access my yahoo email without all the bells and whistles through http://us.m.yahoo.com/w/ygo-mail/folder.bp%3B_ylt=A2KL8wk3tX5QehcAMxVJ9tw4?f=Inbox&i=0&n=10&srcp=folders&.ts=1350481208&.intl=us&.lang=en.
Spoke to soon. Just received message: The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

The error message about redirecting in a way that will never complete can indicate a problem with cached files or inconsistent cookies. Try clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for yahoo.com.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
(You also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")
(2) Remove your yahoo.com cookies (save any pending work first) using either of these. While viewing a page on the site:
- right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
Just a heads-up for anyone else that may be experiencing the same issues with Yahoo mail. I have been in contact with Yahoo help and finally it seems they are willing to accept responsibility for some of this frustration I have experienced. Their latest response to me indicated a problem with synchronization with my account and their server.(whatever that means) Service is not totally corrected but at least now I am able to utilize my yahoo email. Not me browser, not my computer.
