When I receive an email containing images as cid:X.MA1 ...........@aol.com Thunderbird cannot open the image. I have used every (so called) solution available on the internet but it still won't display the image -- HELP !!!

have you worked through these suggestions at link, including the attempt to save file as html and then then open in a browser: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_in_messages_do_not_appear
