Hi.

I want to set Auto-joined Channels for my irc chat account as #linux and ##acim and #regex.

In Account properties tab, I tried '#linux ##acim #regex' and also '#linux,##acim,#regex'. Both didn't work :(

As of 2nd March 2020, Mozilla has moved away from IRC to Matrix for its public channels and the IRC server was shut down.

check in your antivirus program if thunderbird is completely accessible for the internet. Just look around and find out. see if your chat software is ready for access. check your port s for the right numbers to work with. (the Smtp settings) https://wiki.mozilla.org/IRC
