Portable Firefox bookmarks & passwords will be encrypted on flash drive, how Sync will work?
Hello,
im already using Firefox portable (40.0.3) on my computer, having it in the encrypted Truecrypt.ch container. I found an tutorial on how to keep Firefox "Storage disk location" in my mounted Truecrypt partition, not on unencrypted C:/ drive. It is done and i believe Firefox data are secure, do not leaking into un encrypted C:/ drive
Im using Firefox Sync and Master password to protect/encrypt passwords.
I want to ask if also Bookmarks are encrypted in case i have profile folder on an un encrypted HDD?
My aim now is to copy Firefox Portable (http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable ?) to an USB flash drive.
And use FF from within this flash drive on public computers like internet cafe or similar. While having quick access to all my saved passwords & bookmarks.
How this works? Isnt Firefox Sync downloading too much data so flash drive take too much time to sync?
Basically i need to be absolutely sure that the a) Firefox will not leak my data outside of USB flash drive in an unencrypted form and b) Firefox passwords, bookmarks stored on flash drive will be unreadable for anyone who do not know my master password
At same time i want FF to write minimum data on Flash Drive (http://lifehacker.com/5687850/speed-up-firefox-by-moving-your-cache-to-ram-no-ram-disk-required ?) to save its writing cycles.
Please what is my To Do list in order to have this secure portable Firefox on flash drive? Thank you

Firefox Portable is made to be installed on a USB Flash drive.
Firefox Portable is a 3rd part application created by Portable Apps. Their support forum is over here. http://portableapps.com/forums/support/firefox_portable
