I'm trying to get a frame from my javascript page, Chrome works fine from 127.0.0.1, but firefox keeps saying needs permission.

I clicked on the little world icon and set the permissions, I set Use the Camera to Allow

Indeed now when I'm on 127.0.0.1, I can click on the world icon and it says Permissions: Use the Camera Allow is set in the pulldown.

Still complains with

Error: Could not access webcam: PermissionDeniedError: The user did not grant permission for the operation

Most importantly, I need this to work on my domain, which does NOT have HTTPS, its for a school group, its just a little personal domain, not going through the trouble of getting https for it. HELP! Does firefox allow web access from non-https sites??? I know chrome is broken and does not, but as I said, this is to assist a elementary school project, and going through the https thing simply means the kids miss out on setting up a web cam to watch their fish hatchery.
