Since just yesterday Firefox wants a master password every time I open a site that wants a log in. I updated just now and it didn't help. It seems like it started just after I installed McAfee Total Protection. I don't really want to wipe all my passwords out of Firefox to reset. I did'nt set a master password so i don't know why it thinks I have one.

Try to rename/remove pkcs11.txt and secmode.db in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

Sounds like it will wipe all my stored passwords. I found out how to do that. I still don't know why it wants a master password.
