Can't select "login information saving"
I have trouble saving login information for sites. The option that the browser asks to save it, is greyed out. I'm not in private mode.

Hello,
Verify in about:preferences#privacy if "Propose to register identifiers and passwords for websites" is enbeled.
If he is enbeled, try to reset Firefox Here

Thank you for your answer, I'm sry now again at work I see that we use Firefox Quantum 60.2.0esr So do you have an idea for this, too?
Do you have any Password Manager add-ons installed?
That type of extension typically overrides the Login features that are built into Firefox.
No, there aren't any password manger or other extensions.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Did you update Firefox ESR to the latest version 60.6.2 May 5, 2019 Fixes add-on certificate issue.

What is the status of signon.rememberSignons on the about:config page? Is this pref locked?
You can check the about:policies#active page in Firefox 63+ to see whether policies are active.

First thank you FredMcD and cor-el for your answers. Starting in save mode does not do the trick. Our Version is 60.2.0esr But today I could ask another colleague and we are not allowed to update, or use “advanced“ settings. So I think your tip cor-els, should work, if I cloud try it.. Thank you
